Our client is an independent day and boarding school catering for students from Kindergarten to Year 12 based in the Northern Suburbs. They are renowned for their exceptional level of academic achievement and encouraging a love of learning in a Christian environment.

The Accounts Receivable position is a part-time, permanent position which involves working during school holidays and will be reporting directly to the Accountant. The hours of work will be 9am till 3pm Monday-Friday.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Processing charges to debtor accounts
• Preparing daily bank deposits
• Processing electronic payments
• Preparing a daily bank reconciliation
• Phone collections
• Other duties as nominated by the Accountant
• Filling in for Accountant during times of leave

Requirements for the role:

• At least two years of Australian experience in a similar role
• Excellent communication skills - Both verbal and written
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, senior management, parents and other members of the school community
• Excellent organisational skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work independently, prioritise a busy workload and meet deadlines
• Ability to manage confidential information
• Accounting knowledge - Feel confident to step in to Accountants position to cover leave.
